Default Moving up weights

I started boxing last month and currently weight 155lbs. I used to weigh 170 after weight training, but dropped back down to my original weight. I feel that this is my optimum weight as I have weighed around this much for most of my adult life.

Would it be detrimental for me to move up to around 165lbs? I would like to be a bit more filled out, mainly for aesthetic reasons, but I do plan on boxing at amateur level some time in the next year, so would it mainly be a disadvantage or could it be good for me also?

I'm 5'8 and train 4 times a week and eat healthily apart from the odd cheat meal for sanity.
