Lmao!! The thumb is below the eye. This clearly shows Lewis' knuckles landing in the afflicted area. Way to go genius!!!

I was wondering that about you. The thumb lands below the eye and next to Vittles nose. This is why there has never been any outcry of an illegal thumb and the reason you cant supply any links of anyone involved with the fiight complaining about it. It was bad enough when you made an ass of yourself saying Lewis should have been DQ'd, now you look like a royal ass!! Congratulations!!

You sure this cut wasn't caused by the sneaky right hand in the clinch after this punch? That's the first time blood appears, and it runs out fast.

This is about as credible as Widdows grainy stills 'proving' it was a dreadlocked headbutt that caused the cut. And nearly killed Radar.

It's not even about Mayweather-Gatti, Mosley-Vargas 2, Vazquez-Marquez 2, Kirkland-Julio, Kirkland-Angulo, Maidana-Ortiz, Canelo-Gomez, Peter-Maskaev, or even Golota-McBride, etc, etc, etc ... and plenty more..

It had to be about Lennox-Vitali ... the fight where people saw this heartless Vitali guy 'possibly' on the verge of upsetting The Man, but lost on super bloody cuts. Lewis' last fight.
Certainly, if there wasn't more to the fight than just the result, it wouldn't be an ongoing debate through the following 9 years and onward. ..Yet the title of this thread is 'T.K.O 6' ... ... Kind of ironic because the debate itself says that the title is irrelevant. So it probably would've been better to call the thread "Lewis-Klitschko rematch unnecessary" ...although this debate would've been less likely to carry on if the rematch actually happened. Oh well, carry on...
Nothing to say it can't be about any if those TKO 6's. up to you man.

This thread doesn't discriminate.

Lewis punched with the glove and Vitali goes back with his head.

Lewis could not cut his thumb before throwing a punch

Thumb is at the nose.

Thumbing Vitali's nose while punching his face causes the skin around his eyes to break?

Are Ukrainians anatomically different from the rest of us?

This was already dealt with earlier in the thread.

Now, let's advance to the next frame, where Lewis is shown driving through on the punch. At that point, the thumb may or may not come into contact with his foe's face, but because of the way Lennox delivers the punch, it does so at a point just under the eye of his opponent, and nowhere near the cut in question.

That's if the thumb connects with any degree of force on the follow-through. VK's head was already starting to rock back from the force of the initial contact, so that becomes less feasible...And the lack of a cut below the eye, and VK's lack of rapid blinking and swelling of the eye in the seconds that immediately follow the punch provide evidence of this.
Boom, indeed.

Im just curious, but why is Lewis so frowned upon for retiring with a win? If he came back and avoided Vittles I would be right there with you. I mean it's not like quitting against a fighter in front of your own fans and promising them you will get that title back and not doing it, is it?
