As to Harrison, what a terrific fighter he was. Excellent record of 27-2-2 with so many title fight victories and credible opponents. And also to defeat the only man who ever beat him while he was a champion, in the return bout, speaks volumes about him. With some of the weaker entrants we have in the HOF, Harrison certainly has a case IMO.

harrisons problems are alcohol related. everybody knows someone who's a decent guy untill they touch the demon drink. not saying harrisons an angel sober but his crime's were commited under the influence of shit loads of alcohol so cut the guy some slack for fuck sake. some of the guys posting on here think their shit dnt stink. it wouldnt surprise me if some of the cocks on here slating harrison have criminal records or kick about with people who have. haters love to hate, even if they're being hypocrits! he's done the time he deserved, now lets see if he can keep off the drink and out of trouble, win a few high profile domestic scraps and shock us all. i seriously doubt he'll win another world title but give the guy some respect for wanting it and believing he can do it after being locked in a hell hole for a 3 fuckin years!

Now that I can totally believe as I've heard it several times from people from Cambuslang and Halfway.
One of them did say that they thought a lot of problems were down to his ex-missus,who used to demand that he attacked guys who she felt didn't pay her due deferance() but he didn't seem to get any better when they split.

I think we have to accept that he's got a past and can be a right wank but hopefully he wants to move on.
And also allow for the fact that he has a rotten wee dial and people are always going to take a dislike to him.
