Gutted for Watson... He choked big time on the big stage
![]() The Kingsbury fight should have been stopped in the first. Awful decision to let him carry on... I'm pretty disgusted really that they let him fight with one eye. It's that kind if shit that gives MMA a bad reputation! Lynchburg |

I disagree. Struve actually managed to find his range in the second and Miocic was at the end of all of his punches. He turned up the heat the overwhelmed him.

Pretty much the whole card was awesome. The two fights that were let downs were the Hardy fight and the Hathaway fight.
Jimi looked powerful as usual. Gassed though but he had hit Kingsbury with everything. I wanted Jimi to win but at the same time Kyle is Checkmat and has been training with Leozinho so I wanted him to do well too. He showed a lot of heart! Lynchburg |

Good card. Stoked for Struve.
![]() Hardy fight wasn't bad, not as good as it appeared on paper it might be though. Very impressed with Gunnar Nelson. Had heard of him, but hadn't seen him fight before. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for his next fight. Main event was damned good. Struve is improving. He looks to be getting physically stronger fight by fight. He's lightning quick with the submissions, and his chin held up to some clean shots from a good puncher. Miocic is no slouch at all. This was a good win for the Skyscraper, he is in good form and getting better. ![]()

Yeah, Gunnar is awesome. Dude once subbed Jeff Monson. No small feat.
http://www.nelson.is/images/2009/Nelson-vs-Monson.jpg I watched a bunch of his fights last night. I love his methodical approach. He just gets in there and gets the job done. |
