Ustinov is a joke. I don't think he can beat any good HW's.

In all seriousness, Valuev >>>>>> Ustinov.

Less power, and not that much faster, but a lot more skilled.

I'd say it would be a SD win for Ustinov. Valuev has far less power, much slower, and cannot handle movement whatsoever.

Slower? Than Ustinov? Nobody is slower than Ustinov.

...and, movement? Is Ustinov a mover now?

Valuev on workrate and quality work. Fact is, Valuev did a lot of things much better technically than some of these newer giants like Ustinov and Wach, out of necessity. He had to refine at least some modicum of skill (which neither of the aforementioned ever bothered to do) because he had to, since unlike them he couldn't rely on clubbing his way toward knockouts.

IMO he is slower than Ustinov....we can agree to disagree.

No I didn't mean he is fleet footed by any means. It's just that Valuev was completely befuddled by anything that moves laterally and avoided his jab. Valuev relied on his target being in front of him, allowing him to set and get off. I feel that Ustinov is similar in this regard, but not as bad as Valuev.

Valuev could've had a few more KO's if he had let loose and clubbed some guys, like he did with Barrett.....but Valuev had ZERO aggression in him. He belonged in front of a chess board, not a boxing ring.

Ustinov would probably lose to Orlov based on their performances against Pulev, let alone SNV

He was a bit unlucky. He landed some cracking right hands on Pulev that would have KO'd many a lesser fighter. Pulev's own iron chin will see him do well. Usty still may yet land his World title shot. Would Adamek or Haye be able to stand up to even one of those crushing right hands than stunned fellow Iron Chinned Pulev? Of course not. Beats one of those and he's back in title contention.
