Lightbulb Overly-muscled boxers

Post boxers that had too much bulky muscle on their frames that hurt them more than it helped

Excessive Bulk restricts lateral movement, (in most cases) it's why I was picking Calzaghe to beat Lacy.

Berto is fast as shit and has good power,he just has bad ring iq and no defense, nothin to do with his muscles

the problem with jones is he didn't have the lower body (core, thighs, legs) to match his upper body. He always had skinny little tooth pick legs, I guess that's what happens when you put muscle on a middle weight frame

i think when moving up in weight boxers should remember to add some muscle to lower body, where power comes from

You're picking some fighters who have a lot of bulk but in which way did it hurt either of them? RJJ showed no signs of beeing slowed down by the muscles, Kirkland has great cardio and a good workrate despite his muscles, bradley could probably fight at a lower weight but in which way do the muscles hurt him he doesn't have problems with his cardio or movement

i agree. That's hard muscle to put on though. Some guys have it naturally like marciano, tyson, frazier, tua. Short guys but with big man cores.
