Tyson vs Holyfield #1

Tyson clearly won rds 1,5
Holyfield won rds 6 (KD) , 10 and stopped Tyson in d 11th

If i was 4ced 2 score d close rds then i think that Tyson was a bit more accur8 & effective in them .

But by clear scoring it was 98:97 4 Holyfield by d time of d stoppage .

Tyson used his elbows effectively early in this fight as well .

Holyfield cut Tyson with his head , probably unintentional .

Against a superb cheater like Tyson , everything is applicable , so Holyfield gets d credit 4 this win .

Lots of clinching and pushing as expected from both of them .
Also d usual Tyson locking his opponents' arm from its rear side .

It is in theory, but i still reckon Steele was just crooked.

Look at how he let the likes of Hearns and Kittikassen get brutalised.

The fix was in, bro

Gaby Canizales KO2 Miguel Lora .

D crowd booed Lora whenever he showed them that he was aware of their presence .

1st rd Canizales was more aggressive but did not do damage , neither did Lora , so d rd is more of a Canizales rd , but could b claimed even .

2nd rd Lora reminded me of a much taller 4 his weight Montell Griffin and floored Canizales whom probably did it in purpose 2 lure Lora in2 fighting .

Lora followed d KD and charged Canizales on d ropes , after making Lora miss at least d majority of his flurrying punches , Canizales connected with a hook and down went Lora .

Lora got up in a way that warranted a stoppage if d ref was looking at him but he did not , and allowed d fight 2 continue and Gaby finished Lora and KOd him .

watching Martinez-Beltran again from the Martinez-Chavez undercard...Beltran is hitting harder, cleaner and is nearly as active as Martinez from the middle rounds on. His inside work is tremendous and at a distance, that right hand is a cannon. So of course Lederman has Martinez dominating the scorecard

watched Mayweather De La Hoya again this time with col Bob Sheridan or whatever doing the commentary... that guy is pure gold. basically accused all the punchstats of being full of **** said that all mayweather's blows landed on Oscars gloves and every round talked up oscars game plan and body punching before scoring it a draw. then claiming it was a tremendous battle.

it was freakin hilarious until I realized he was serious

Marco Antonio Barrera vs Eric Morales 1.

Rd. 1 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 2 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 3 - Barrera 10-10 Morales
Rd. 4 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 5 - Barrera 9-10 Morales
Rd. 6 - Barrera 9-10 Morales
Rd. 7 - Barrera 10-10 Morales
Rd. 8 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 9 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 10 - Barrera 9-10 Morales
Rd. 11 - Barrera 10-9 Morales
Rd. 12 - Barrera 10-8 Morales

Barrera 117-112 Morales

Excellent fight. 117-112 was possibly a little generous to Barrera, but I did think he was the winner. The last round wasn't a legitimate knockdown on replay but I counted it as the judges had to. I scored two rounds even, 3 and 7, I'd have to look over them again but they could have gone either way. Even if they had gone to Morales though Barrera would still be winning. I thought he blocked a lot of shots and was throwing the harder/more purposeful punches. He won the majority of the exchanges in my book and set the tone at the start to get the first two rounds, although the first was close with Morales countering well. All in all an excellent fight, big credit going to both fighters.

De la Hoya - Shane Mosely 1

Rd 1. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 2. De la Hoya 10-9 Shane Mosely
Rd 3. De la Hoya 10-9 Shane Mosely
Rd 4. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 5. De la Hoya 10-9 Shane Mosely
Rd 6. De la Hoya 10-9 Shane Mosely
Rd 7. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 8. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 9. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 10. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 11. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosely
Rd 12. De la Hoya 9-10 Shane Mosley

De la Hoya 112 - 116 Mosley

Ended up with a very similar score to Lederman. Mosley was impressive I thought and landed cleaner and faster punches quite regularly. I thought De la Hoya was largely ineffective in the second half of the fight, good fight though and was quite close and very competitive

Felix Trinidad - Fernando Vargas

Rd. 1 Trinidad 10-7 Vargas
Rd. 2 Trinidad 10-9 Vargas
Rd. 3 Trinidad 10-9 Vargas
Rd. 4 Trinidad 7-10 Vargas
Rd. 5 Trinidad 9-10 Vargas
Rd. 6 Trinidad 10-9 Vargas
Rd. 7 Trinidad 9-9 Vargas
Rd. 8 Trinidad 9-10 Vargas
Rd. 9 Trinidad 10-9 Vargas
Rd. 10 Trinidad 10-8 Vargas
Rd. 11 Trinidad 10-10 Vargas
Rd. 12 Trinidad KO

I had it 104-100 going into the last round.

Eventful fight (low blows and knockdowns on each side). Vargas did well to recover in the first round and had a big 4th round. Rounds 3 and 8 (I think) I felt were close, I scored the 11th even.

Greg Richardson UD10 Gaby Canizales

good per4mance from Richardson

I had it 98:98 but it is not outrageous 2 have Richardson edging it .

Canizales scored a TKD in d 4th , Richardson won d 8th and arguably d 1st .

9th might b given 2 Canizales and 6th (or 7th?) giveable 2 Richardson .

Richardson retreated more than Canizales did but sometimes stood his ground and landed good looking punches . Especially when d slow motion replays only concentr8 on those moments rather than when Canizales landed his .

Partial slowmo replays r misleading

Carlos Zarate TKO4 Alfonso Zamora

Zamora had a good chin and good defense and high workr8 along with powerful punches , but he lacked d stamina 2 maintain all of them combined @ 1ce 4 long .

Zarate held him behind d head while hitting and landing and he did it more than 1ce .

Surprised me how quick both of them re2rned 2 action and seemed concentr8ed after d fat man's eruption 2d ring and d police riddance of him .

So Zarate got what he deserved vs Wilfredo Gomez , but did Wilfredo ever get what he deserved ? Sanchez stopped him clean , so i should watch Nelson vs Gomez .

Miguel Lora TKO4 Antonio Avelar

Lora retreated most of d time but did not 4get 2 punch .
Avelar made him miss as well , but was eventually overpowered by d younger and visibly bigger man and got stopped on his feet with his back 2d ropes .

Relived my youth and watched a few fights from the early 80's:

Eusebio Pedroza KO13 Patrick Ford.

Hell of a performance, and at times, it's a hell of a fight, too. Fight is even on my card after six, with Ford edging the normally slow-starting Pedroza in the first two, and snagging the sixth on my card as well. But Pedroza's last minute rally in the seventh seemed to take all the spirit out of Ford and it was all El Alacran from that point forward.

Bobby Chacon vs Bazooka Limon IV

Watched it with the intent of scoring it, as well as enjoying the action. Usually just watch the fight, and any thought of scoring goes out the window once things start to go ****ing mad in the ring.

That said, I gave Limon the first, third, fourth, seventh, tenth, and twelth rounds. Third round I scored 10-9 since Chacon won most of it, but Limon gets credit for the 10-8 round in the 10th. Chacon gets the other rounds, and the 10-8 round for the KF in the fifteeth. So, my card is 143-140 for the Schoolboy.

Hector Camacho vs Edwin Rosario

I did not score it again despite i intended 2 .
Good competitive fight and again i failed 2 capture d moment or d rd when Rosario "ruined Camacho with 1 punch" .

Both looked good and it surprised me how not boring it was compared 2 what i expected 4 some reason .

Camacho had explosive bursts almost until d end , so if he changed then it was not during this fight .
