Coyne is headlining?thought Casey was, can't see Coyne selling many tickets in Ireland as a headliner.
Wonder will they get the Irish title versus Paddy McDonagh?

can't see anyone giving Coyne a hard time if it's for the "irish title" - will be interesting to see how coyne does when he step up in class as it could be argued that he has a fairly padded record to date

I dont think Coyne qualifies. I thought it was his GG Grandparents that were Irish.

could be a good move for him. He is decent but its time to get a good spell of activity going then a jump up in class.

Anyone got the line up so far?
Hopefully it will be well attended.
The loss of fitz will be a blow no doubt but if they fill the hall hopefully it will happen more frequently.

If he wants an improved IBF ranking he could always bash Romero or Bhaktin

still no news on Coyne's opponent if he is really fighting in Dublin, found this on his website, no mention of irish title either btw :

Ryan ‘The Irish Outlaw’ Coyne improved to 21-0 on Saturday September 22nd as he ventured across the pond and made a smashing debut in the U.K. In his first outing since parting ways with Don King, Ryan traveled to Sheffield, England to showcase his skills courtesy of the classy Dennis Hobson. Dennis Hobson Promotions, one of the top notch outfits in the U.K., is well known for methodically maneuvering world champions Ricky ‘Hitman’ Hatton and Sheffield’s Clinton Woods. Dennis Hobson Promotions played host to the Irish Outlaw as he stepped into the fold and immediately made an impression.Headlining Hobson’s ‘War’ at Don Valley Stadium Ryan needed just 90 seconds to violently dispatch rugged Hungarian journeyman Peter Vecsei in front of the enthusiastic capacity crowd. Ryan put his entire arsenal on display as he unleashed powerful straight lefts and right hooks behind a razor sharp jab. In his first outing as a free agent, Coyne floored Vecsei with a hammering right hook within the first minute and ended matters seconds later dropping Vecsei to all fours with another blistering blow. Following the fight Coyne lamented, What a wonderful crowd. I’m honored to headline a bill in the city that has produced great champions like Clinton and Naz. Dennis Hobson and his team treated me like a king, and I wanted to dazzle the great fight fans here in Sheffield. Hopefully there’s more to come.” Coyne continued, ” Lets not get to excited just yet. I’m supposed to thrash guys like this and I did my job. But I know I’m capable of defeating the top names in the division. I’d love to defuse The Bomber (Tony Bellew) or crack the Welshman (WBO Light Heavyweight Champion Nathan Cleverly) who can’t seem to land a suitable opponent.” Following his win, the WBA’s #2 world rated light heavyweight jubilantly stated his desire to keep a busy schedule moving forward, ” I spent the last few years shackled in Don King’s dungeon where careers go to die. I’ve been ready for big fights for quite some time. I always have been, but I was bound to a dead beat. I served my time and that’s over now. I’m free and clear and it’s time to get to it! I plan on keeping busy and optimally have a big showcase bout in Atlantic City or Ireland by the end of the year.”Look for a speedy announcement on Ryan’s next fight here at irishoutlawboxing.com.
