Past year or two maybe a few quid has crossed palms but only at the very very top,i will put money on boxers who are at ABA level get **** all,in fact i know for a fact they dont

What kind of commitment are we talking about here? If these boxers train amateur full time (I honestly don't know how the amateur game works), then 27k (even if paid directly into the bank account), is not that great considering how short their careers are combined with the opportunity cost of spending all that time in something which provides few avenues for work later in life. If the amateur boxing is done in tandem with other activities that improve their earning potential after boxing, then maybe it's not so bad.

Simply answer is turn pro. The amount you earn as a pro is unlimited, if your good enough. Not only is amatuer boxing shit to watch, the boxers will only earn a capped amount
