Imagine the outrage if Andre Ward did this in his next 10 fights. James Toney has shamed the sport of boxing in so many ways. |

Whilst he had some terrible defences, he did make the big domestic fights and stepped in with some of the best fighters at the time However, when Eubank could make £1m per defence to fight nobodies, I don't blame him for not facing the likes of Nunn and Toney! |

Focus your time and energy on debating elsewhere because you can never change these facts. |

What are you going on about? So all of a sudden his not that guy who fought Nunn and Mccallum because he faced a bunch of nobodies during keep busy fights. The fact that he never forced HBO to buy those fights or used them to rack up title defenses speaks for itself. Eubank: Quote:

Yeah that's fair, though he did face world class fighter in those big domestic match ups. On the topic of Toney v Benn & Eubank, I think Toney would have TKO'd Benn in the later rounds. Toney-Eubank would have been a close fight, with neither man wanting to lead I think Eubank's movement would have given Toney fits, it comes down to who would land the better punches the exchanges |

It was self explanatory, why are you trying to split hairs? Don't let those facts spoil you day zod because there is nothing you can type that will change those facts that are set in stone. Whilst Toney was IBF 168 champion, his level of competition disgraced the sport of boxing. |

![]() Not what i call disgraceful competition. It was obvious by the video, he was trying to get fights with Benn and Eubank as well. |

Never really been sold on Collins. He basically came along at the right time. Eubank had no business losing to that guy twice. Eubank slipped a level himself when he moved up to smw and became a lazy fighter Quote:
Toney was a step above anyone the Eubank had ever faced. He was the better counterpuncher and he was better at fighting off the front foot than Eubank, who tended to look awkward and off balance at times. |
