Bruce Lee could have been a good boxer.
Joe Lewis and Chuck Norris may have been good boxers. Lewis almost became a boxer. |

IMO none of them, since if they wanted to do boxing they would have trained boxing....
It's not like someone put a gun on there head while they were training Kickboxing... |

i am asking the question as a point of interest,
like which one had the most talent to be a boxer, just like you can ask which boxer would be best suited for k1 etc, or which wrestler would be best suited to adcc etc its a question of interest, how a guy from a related sport would do with proper training |

Yeah...
I guess I'm the problem here, I must be tired of all those thread asking how X fighter from K-1 or X fighter from MT or X fighter from MMA would have done if he had decided to limite is skillset with hand combat only.... |

your not the problem but the thing is american kickboxing had a 6 kick a round rule-no low kicks because to be honest their kicks werent that great usually so they relied on hands most of the time.... this is not like saying from muay thai, where they spend a lot of time on knees and elbows and clinch too, so its a bit of different question and boxing is more then hand combat, there is angles, footwork etc etc |

You missed one of the best - Troy Dorsey. Won legit world titles in both sports back when it meant something.

Kickboxers switching over to boxing is nothing new. several amateur kickboxers have found great success in boxing. Most notably of course is Vitali Klitschko, then you also have guys like Marco Huck, Povetkin, and I think even Manual Charr had a kickboxing background.
I think plenty of current and past k-1 Heavys would make good or decent Kickboxers. Matt Skelton fought in k-1 and made his name there before switching over to boxing. Kyotaro is 5-0 and is rated as the 106 best HW by boxrec. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Jerome Le banner flirted with a boxing career on the side. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] going 6-0 5(KOs) Of course Alexander Ustinov was a k-1 guy for many years before he switched over to pro-boxing. In addition to those guys, Mighty Mo, Mark Hunt, Peter Graham and Ray Sefo have also fought in professional bouts a few times. Badr Hari was planning to make the full time switch to boxing, he even moved to NY and would took the train to Philly so he could train with Naazim Richardson. Then he decided to stay in kickboxing, and then he started to get into serious trouble with the law again. |
