Mayweather should rematch Hatton

Next to the Pacquiao fight, this is the best money making fight out there for him. Both fighters coming off long layoffs and most importantly Joe Cortez has how retired, should be a good fair fight.

He could rematch him for money reasons, but he has obviously zero to gain from a boxing legacy standpoint.

Other than a big paycheque.

You are defo British, Calzaghe biased and Hatton also. Mayweather v Hatton fight wasn't even close. There's still a number of fights available for Mayweather. Hatton should fight Brook or Khan.

It was closer than a lot of Mayweather's fights. And it was entertaining. A rematch sounds good to me, even if the same result is expected.

Yeah I'd love to see that, if only to hear Yankee fans drowned out by Hatton supporters. Highly doubt the result would be different but it would still be really cool. More entertaining than Hatton/Pacman again.

I agree with what Tyson said about Ricky. Take your time and come back slowly. Don't rush it. Ricky has fights out there. Mayweather and Pacman already fought him. Maybe Amir Khan. Tim Bradley.

I don't know if my memory has got fucked up, but I seem to remember that being a reasonably even fight for 4-5 rounds at least. Am I wrong?

I agree.

Cortez wouldn't let Hatton get on the inside and kept splitting them up.

I'm not saying Hatton would have won otherwise but it definitely wasn't as one sided as some people make out. Hatton gets a lot of stick, which I think is undeserved.

Yeah it was fairly close until the 6th if i remember right but i never thought at any point Hatton would win, unlike my less educated mates who were going apeshit every time Ricky got close to landing.Which wasnt often. Hatton did pretty well but Floyd was a cut above and on form.

Cotto deserves a rematch more than Hatton. The Cotto fight was WAY more competitive.
