Default PPV numbers if..

Pacquiao will fight Mayweather next year
and Cotto vs. Alvarez on its undercard?

could it reach 3 million?

No.

A few years ago when the hype around this fight was at its peak it may have done 3 million.

I still personally think it'll do 2 million if it does get made but even that's correctly questionable now.

If Cotto/Alvarez is on the undercard I can definitely see it doing 2.7-2.8million PPV buys. You have literally every big market on the card...American, Asian, Puerto Rican, and Mexican. On 2nd thought I really do think it'll do slightly above 3million now that I think about it. It'd be one of the biggest boxing events in the history of the sport.

Hell I think Canelo/Cotto by itself does 700,000.

the undercard is irrelevent. the numbers will break records regardless.
