Glen Johnson was on a good KO run, 32 fights, 32 wins and no loses 22 KO's. There was no blueprint. He stepped up to Hopkins, and got a solid career beatdown topped with a TKO, then it took him a while to get back to a decent level and get out of his ruined state.

Joe Calzaghe looks great in his career defining win over Mikkel Kessler steps up to Hopkins and all of a sudden looks shit. Then looks shit against RJJ and calls it a day when he is at the pinnacle of his career.

This is no coincidence BHop ruins fighters mentally and physically. Tell me another boxer who has ruined more fighters than Bernard Hopkins?

Calzaghe beats Mikkel Kessler and is on the rise.

Calzaghe getting floored by a shot Roy Jones Jr, and looks to be on the decline. And then retires less than 4 months later.

The topic of this thread is who has ruined more fighters than Hopkins?

But for some strange reason this thread is being turned into Calzaghe vs Hopkins discussion.

So to bring this thread back to the topic of "fighters that ruin other fighters" lets look at who Joe Calzaghe has ruined in his 46 wins.

Jeff Lacy - Next Mike Tyson, gets slapped around for 12 rounds straight, never looked the same.

And thats about it, if anyone can contribute any other names, please bring forth.

calzaghe took hopkins into deep water.

calzaghe was struggling to find his range early on in the fight and kept getting tagged by hopkins as he was trying to get in close to land something.

calzaghe had an amazing ability to adapt and use his high workrate to dominate opponents & that is exactly what he done to hopkins.

hopkins could not handle the pace & had to fein low blows in order to buy himself some breathing time.

calzaghe made him look old.
