I think it has been established, no fighter in the history of boxing has ruined more boxers than Bernard Hopkins.
Unless a more knowledgeable poster can contribute, we can leave it at that. |

Hopkins was one of those fighters that could ruin another fighter.
I dont think it is to do with punishment, but more the psychological impact he had on fighters in that when he did school them, he did it with professional ease. Look at how he handled Tarver, Pavlik, Trinidad when he was an underdog, terrible for his opponents psych. Opponents who beat him like Taylor and Calzaghe stayed mentally strong and I thought Pascal would beat him in the return as he seemed mentally strong, but Hopkins got to him and studies fighters well enough that he wont give an easy night to anyone. I thought the Dawson fight was a close run thing |

Sorry Glen Johnson is an ATG journeyman. He was 2004 fighter of the year for shattering RJJ's glass jaw because RJJ didn't have his steroids anymore and Tarver.
Before then he lost to such ATG's as Derick Harmon, Syd Vanderpool and Sylvio branco. Don't kid yourself |

It's amazing you fight all those names winning some and losing some and you're a journeyman but when you fight the likes of Pudwill, Salem, Mkrtchyan, McIntyre and Thornberry and you're some sort of ATG legend ![]() ![]()

The big difference is turning up and winning, and apart from RJJ who didn't have his steroids and Tarver 1, he lost all those fights oh and Alan Glass Jaw green
Nice to see your cheap shot at Calzaghe, doing what all the Americans do and bringing up the worst names on his resume. Remember Hopkin's legendary trilogy with Robert Allen? ![]() ![]() ![]() He sure ruined him as well |
