Hell no. He is the epitome of an overprotected Euro bum who got lucky on the scorecards on numerous occasions only to get stopped by the first heavyhanded C-level boxer. I hope his career is over.

It's on youtube.
Didn't look that bad but he got beatan by a more clever man. Britsch was more active and was outlanding Santos pretty easily. Santos wasn't bothered and he gave away those first 6 rounds but still was doing enough job to make Britsch tired. In the seventh round Santos suddenly started to let his hands go and that was something that Brisch wasnt expecting I guess.. It was clear that Britsch was more tired and his tank was getting empty. Finally Santos put him down with a body shot just a second before the bell rang. And in the eight he just finished the job that was already done. Britsch wasn't bad but he was just outsmarted that night. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU_maKqquos[/ame] |

There are things to like about him, very useful jab for instance - but yeah, he probably got "lucky" twice in a row (Lyell and Santos I) and it wasn't exactly heartbreaking to see El Tigre have his day against him.

Santos took over like he did in the last fight but he ripped the body far better.
Britsch has been well guided so far. Billy Joe Saunders is no go area for Britsch |

Santos closed him down nicley. Britsch's movement was all wrong. Same pace, no get-up. Couldn't handle the pressure, or combat it.
Britsch isn't even on Saunders radar is he? Think he will target Murray for a European title then go after a world title shot. |

Might be some time before that happens. Murray pulled out of negotiations with Julien Marie Sainte for the vacant title. Now its Sainte and Max Bursak negotiating.

So it seems the fight will be in France. And that Golovkin wont be facing Sainte in December as rumoured elsewhere. Meanwhile Marcos Nader will try to avenge Britsch on November 2 in Austria. |
