i give it to mundine when he is in the build up for a fight the media are all over him like flies, but saying that the ppv numbers arnt as big anymore there ok, but not as big, and i rekon its coz he hasnt taken a big chance for a while and people are getting sik of seeing the same thing ova and ova... a big win ova a credible oppenent in austraila like geale or a top 5 ( not soliman ) would bring the fans and the big ppv$$$ back for the man.....until than he is just sittin on the sidelines calling out big names like mayweather and cotto and fighting 50th ranked fighters wont get him those shots lol

Hard call saying Australian boxing is a disgrace. There is a whole lot of great stuff happening in Australia from the grassroots amateurs right through to the pro's, the only problem is no one knows about it in the wider Australian public.

In the last 2 years we have had amateurs win world junior titiles, win youth olympics, Pro's fight for legitimate world titles and Danny Geale's success. Also we had a great young team at the olympics who performed well and lost some close decisions who will be joining the pro ranks. So things are looking good for Australian boxing and will only get better over the next few years.
