Lol this would be a Gatti level massacre. Chavez couldnt find a middleweight for 11 rounds whats he gonna do to a olympic light heavyweight is miles better than even Martinez.

Ward caught hell for accepting Dawson's challenge to fight him at 168. People whined that Ward was a coward for draining Dawson. So now Jr challenges him at 168 and Ward will destroy him. People will call Ward a coward for picking on a middleweight lol.

Much respect if he actually makes that fight. That would be huge ,Ward should concede on the venue .That could be held at Staples .

Chavez loses by TKO after the ref/corner look to stop the punishment. Much respect to Chavez for having the balls to call out Ward after Martinez, but the dude won about half of a round of a fight and couldn't even finish an old man with a broken hand and torn knee. in fact Martinez took his shit and kept throwing until the bell. In terms of activity, Jr. did well in half a round out of 12. Ward takes him out back and puts the hurt on with stiff shots all over his body and head. Any hope of inside fighting by Jr. is also the window.

i think chavez jr will be perfect at 168 putting alot less strain on his body to make weight
however he wont hydrate and baloon weight over his opponents and that was really the one thing he had over them... andre ward, to skilled, to slick, to smart to loose wont knock him out though |

Would love to see the fight, I wouldnt blame him for taking a tune up fight first though.
He would really need to bring his A game not to be completely blown out on the scorecards against Ward, and I mean 12 rounds to 0. Is a fight id like to see though, wouldnt mind JR fighting Bute maybe though first (after Bute loses to Froch again) as a tune up, if he can beat Bute then fight Ward. Then he can fight Froch win or lose against Ward. Lots of big fights in JR's immediate future. |

I actually think it is a great match for both fighters. Jr makes some money, loses a UD without taking too much of beating. Ward does his first PPV get much needed exposure to casual fans and an OK win at weight there is nobody left to fight. After that maybe he can fight Pavlik.

This won't happen, but if it does, I fully expect Ward to win every minute of every round.

Ward would love this fight. His biggest payday against a guy he will school. I'm seeing a corner stoppage as Ward beats the living shit out of Jr. until Roach can't stand to see it anymore.
