Impossible to predict.

Though these 'two' could have met in 1967, after Cleveland had been injured.

Jerry by a 'stunning' 3rd Round Knockout.

At his peak, Jerry beat the better fighters and feasted on guys who were in love with their power.

This comment doesn't really contribute much to the conversation and is opinionated, but I just don't think Williams was that good. Not very impressed with him on film nor his record for that matter. I like Quarry to win this.

I dont think Williams was as good as Lyle, Mac Foster or Shavers and Quarry handled all three. The younger Quarry was erratic and head strong but as he matured he was a giant killer of sorts. He could handle the big, slow guys and I really see nothing other than his muscled frame and nick name " Big Cat" that impresses me. Williams record or knock outs not so impressive....Quarry would stop him before 6

Cleveland 'Big Cat' Williams,,,,

Could be called the Gerry Cooney of the late-1950's and early-1960's.

The Big Cat just never figured out the 'defensive routine'.

Both are very overrated on this forum but Williams sucked even more so. Quarry by decision but a TKO (cuts) win for Williams would not surprise me at all.

I could see the fight turn out like the Jerry Quarry v. Mac Foster fight.

This is about the way I see it. Williams would have the puncher's chance, but Quarry did very well with this type of fighter.

Quarry would have cut Williams down like he did Mac Foster.

Except these men lacked the speed and stamina Williams had. Williams did very well against elite counterpunchers(prime eddie machen)
