Oscar can bang, he lost his timing in the right hand but he lost that before the fight with Mayorga, and just like Mayorga, Hatton will be there to be hit. Oscar has a solid chin, and if a war breaks out Oscar wins, in a boxing match Oscar wins. |

Prime Goldie whacks him. He still had decent power at WW. Hatton ain't strong enuf to win against a young Goldie with his swarmin style.
The Goldie who fought Pac just wasn't strong. Hatton might beat him. |

People underrate that Oscar because Pacquiao schooled him and destroyed him.
Oscar could not cope with the speed and boxing ability of Pacquiao, Oscar won't have that problem with Hatton. Oscar will probably stopped Hatton around 9 |

Hatton would beat that version since Hatton still had bodily functions to be able to hydrate without an IV, unlike Oscar. |

But just like how Oscar could stop a fighter like Mayorga he would stop Hatton, made for Oscar's style, even at that stage of his career. |

Yes he was well past his best.
Oscar was a part-time boxer and a full time promoter. Had almost 3 years out of the game, came back and fought Mayorga, where you don't need timing or sharpness against. Oscar still had his power and he always had a great chin. Oscar as also had issue in his private life at that time, drugs, alcohol, dressing up in women's lingerie. Roach who trained Oscar for Mayweather, noticed his timing was way out with right hand, and of the back of that he designed the game plan for Pacquiao and knew Pacquiao had his number with the skills he possessed. Hatton on the other will be an ever willing target. |

He stopped Mayorga but that was 2 years prior to the Pac fight, and to be honest...who doesn't beat Mayorga. That's his MO. Show up to press conferences, talk shit to sell the fight, then take his beating like a man lol. Very "Late tyson-esque"

Any version of Haton gets his ass whipped by any version of Oscar. Hatton always had problems against the few fighters he fought that had a bigger frame than himself - and Oscar had a much bigger frame. Oscar may have been shot to shit at that point, but he still had more skills than Hatton and was probably faster too. Bigger + stronger + faster +more skilled = brakes - beaten off.
