Barrera was the boss, completely the ring generally, cleaner punches, much more effective aggression backing up Morales constantly.

Morales possibly edged the second fight though

Ward gatti was better more brutal only 10 rounds and better body punching

Best fight in the last decade. Right up there with Gatti-Ward and Vazquez-Marquez as the greatest boxing rivalry ever.

I have Limon-Chacon IV above this, the Gatti-Ward fights and whatnot.

Marquez-Vasquez III is truly incredible, right up there.

It's mine too. It's preposterous. The story behind it makes it even greater.

That super featherweight era is the craziest, action-packed era of all time IMO. Insane. Just when you think Boza has staked his claim as the best Navarette slaughters him

So much fun, and Limon-Chacon IV the best of the bunch IMO.

I'm interested in the back story to Chacon-Limon...

I'm up for rewatching it- first time was in a drunken stupor.

A good back story should make it that much better and happen a bit sooner...

Never saw the Navarette fight either.

I need to take some time to check out more lower-weight fights. I really have slacked on that.

I wouldn't call Morales-Barrera I a "poor man's" anything. That was a seriously great fight by anyone's measure.

But yeah, Chacon-Limon IV was pretty fucking great.
