Jackson, Benn, Jones, McClellan
Very close, Jones power may get underrated due to the fact people tend to remember his speed more then anything else but he could KO fighters with one punch to the head or body. |

I agree.
I think Jackson hit the hardest. The ko of Graham comes to mind I would place Jones over Benn, because of the Malinga fights and their results Last edited by general zod; 10-14-2012 at 06:41 AM. |

Benn could bang, but Malinga went the distance with him twice. On the other hand Jones stopped him quite early. So I'm going to place Jones over Benn. McClellan could also bang, but without common opponents its hard to place him in this list. |

P4P or absolute?
Jackson probably had the most concussive punch at 160, although McClellan seemed heavier-handed (everything he threw seemed to hurt, even when it didn't land cleanly). Benn wasn't as big a puncher at 168 as he was at 160, or maybe his opposition was more durable. Many of his stoppages were due to accumulation of punches, and quite a few fights went the distance. People forget how hard Jones punched at 160-168. When he opened up and sat down on his punches, even durable guys generally fell over. Sosa, Thornton and Pazienza had noteworthy chins, and Jones got them out of there pretty quickly. To me, Jackson and McClellan are pretty similar, and a level above Jones/Benn. even though the latter two could bang. Probably go with: McClellan, Jackson, Jones, Benn - switching Jackson for McClellan if going p4p |

The common opponent argument is flawed Douglas TKO10 Tyson Holyfield KO3 Douglas According to this logic, Holyfield is a harder puncher than Tyson right? Jackson McLellan Benn Jones Could Jones have stopped the G-Man? I don't think so All were excellent punchers |
