As for the fight, Charr UD. I don't rate him at all, but Gomez is done. The loss to Darnell Wilson was a robbery but he still looked shit. In the second fight, Wilson was dominating before the bullshit stoppage. Ding is nothing more than a journeyman now who has offered zero threat to everyone he's faced since 2008 - aside from Gomez. Over the past 4 years he's been easily beaten by some very average fighters like Jason Gavern (who KO'd him), Leapai, Walker, Arslan, Ehikhamenor (who?) and Pala, so if Gomez is struggling against a guy like him then you'd expect Charr to take this on workrate, even though Gomez (in his prime, anyway) is/was more skilled. |
