Silva - He'll probably end up fighting Bisping because I don't see the GSP fight happening
Bonnar - If Chael wins, then Bonnar will fight Forrest again Big Nog - Werdum Phil Davies - Glover Texiria, Machida, or Henderson Glover Texiria - Henderson, or Davies Maia - Fitch |

Silva has already cleaned out 185. It's so weird. He has looked incredible at 205. Why not try and finish his career getting wins over Rua, Evans, and Bones? If Silva beats Weidman...so what? People would just say Weidman was too green. Not much for Silva at 185. But if he has to fight there I'd rather see him fight GSP or Nick Diaz than Weidman or Bisping (lol seriously?).

No one of any real importance on the card in my opinion except Fitch who is back in the mix and Silva who can do whatever the fuck he wants. Everyone else is in a development stage which means they could fight almost anybody.

Anderson should be taking on the winner of Weidman/Boetsch, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bisping was given a title shot. Don't think he totally deserves one, but people seem to want it, and he is a big(ish) name.
Big Nog could take on Struve or Kongo. A rematch with Werdum, perhaps. They are looking for TUF Brazil coaches. Love the idea of Fitch/Maia. Would be a crazy ground battle. It would be awful if it turned into a kickboxing match, though. Phil Davis and Glover Teixeira is a very interesting matchup. Glover has a very clear advantage on the feet, and he is also a big threat on the ground. Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin should have their retirement fight. Forrest still has Chael to deal with, though. Fabio Maldonado could fight pretty much anybody and I would be happy. Put him in with the loser of Griggs/Diabate. Or the winner. Either way. I really like the sounds of Erick Silva/Che Mills. Wagner Prado and Igor Pokrajac makes some sense. Very fan friendly matchup. Rick Story shouldn't get a top guy. Maybe Amir Sadollah. |
