He's a really solid fighter and I'd say in terms of LOC, Skelton, Harrison, MacDermott are ok enough journeymen for him to be fighting atm, but he really shoulda threw a couple cans in a yr to get rds in. At almost 30, with almost 4 yrs as a pro, he should be over 20 fights, especially with so many 1 rdrs. |

![]() in that same time Wlad has already beat Byrd for the WBO belt, and on the way beating Barrett, Shultz, Wolfgramm, Jackson along with losing once But the point is Wlad had 35 fights in that span. |

Hell yes it will be.
I'm looking for a HW king to come out of this current crop of prospects, and being Fury is the only big name who will be able to survive until Wlad's retirement, Im picking him to be the man in the next era.

sounds like he is the new British Audley Harrison to me. What a disgrace. He and Fury should fight already and the loser should retire. |

I think it's sensible matchmaking. At 14 fights, would you throw him in the cold water against Wladimir? At least Skelton is a durable guy that should make him go more than 4 rounds.

He's got to step it up to even be another Povetkin, by this stage povetkin had fought Byrd and chambers in an IBF eliminator tournament and was top ten ranked. The path he is on would be fine if he was 24 and two years into a career. At this rate he will be like Audley and spend his peak working his way up and by the time any title shots come along he would be past his best. A modern heavyweight is able to continue successfully well into his 30s, but this relies on having a wealth of experience at the top like, lewis, holyfield, wlad etc had. |

price will take skelton out in 2 rounds..its good that hes staying busy.but it wont do anything for him developing.other than making him over confident in his power..only good thing is the fact that he will get to experiance another training camp..

They should give him tougher fights at fight 17-19. Then they ought to send him in against the likes of Pulev/Solis/Povetkin/Helenius -- that will tell us how Price really measures up.
