We are boxing fans so fuck this punk ass belt. we shouldnt count it anymore unless a legit champ is claiming ownership. WBA is fail. Shit belt. Thanks WBA for making the boxing landscape that much more confusing among casual fans..

Felix sturm has been champ for years an i didnt even realize it lol. Talk about a vulnerable taylor made wba represenative. White plus he sells out euro fight arenas. Thats why his mediocre ass is champ

I use to look at the sturm hoya fight as a plus when i was 18. I thought it was a genuine good win for felix. He struggled that hard with a half retired welter when i look at it from a common sense view. lol

I don't count it as it is. They have three champs per division and make guys like shot-to-shit old, injured Rahman mandatory challengers. Nor do I count any of the other belts. Even unifying the belts doesn't mean shit anymore. Look at Andre Ward; if he wants to unify the division he's got to fight Abraham and Kessler again, two guys he's already completely dominated. Unfortunately the proliferation of 'world champions' will continue. The governing bodies will keep collecting their sanctioning fees as promoters use the titles to sell their shows and every fighter loves to have a belt or twelve round their waist.

ward shouldnt even acknowledge any belt he doesnt have
we all know hes the man at SMW so let the pretenders to the throne fight over belts
hell, even if ward holds none of the belts it doesnt de-legitimize his status so long as he keeps beating the top guys - not that there are any left
