they fought a shane mosley who was 12 months apart. floyd fought a mosley who was coming of a long lay-off which is not good for an aging fighter and had just have a full-training camp for the berto fight which was cancelled. resets his training and needs to be 100% for the floyd fight. this would cause over-training. against pac, he has no issues such as those and trained just right.

both fought a shot version of mosley though.

2. being on the gym juts to stay fit

mosley was training for a fight for about more than 4 to 5 months (cumulative) at the time he fought floyd.
