It won't come down to who has the better chin in a fight like this. McCall had power but was often unwilling to use it. Chuvalo wasn't the hardest hitter but he was always trying to throw punches.
That's exactly what it might come down to, Chuvalo simply had the better work ethic. A KO is very unlikely. |

Chuvalo was lazy in a lot of fights, allowing opponents to outwork and outpunch him. And since he's the one who's getting hurt here, he'll be even more timid and conservative than usual.

Mccall was a waster who knows how he would turn up he also had a fragile mind so might quit mid fight
As for stunning him mccall said it was bert cooper who stunned him and he also said bert cooper hit harder than tyson There was 4 guys training together in the very early 1990's cooper, morrison, mccall and mercer, bet there was some nice sparring sesions there |

Even if this was a bout fought between two well washed up fighters, you could hardly ever imagine McCall throwing this kind of caution in the air:
He wasn't afraid to take a punch or two to get the job done:

Chuvalo had what I would call the greatest "cotton reel jaw" of all time. Meaning his head would snap and swing all over the place but he took the shots. McCall had/has a "cast iron jaw", meaning, he took heavy shots and his head hardly budged.

It annoys me when you read two of toughest boxers of all time being described as "timid and conservative" and "weak and fragile minded". Like Andre Ward said, the most talk you get is from people who've never boxed.

Chuvalo had one of the best chins in the history of boxing and carried it through nearly 100 fights. Can't think of anyone's that rates better, particularly when you take into account the guys he fought.

I wouldn't really call McCall going in a shell against Bruno pussy or whatever.
Bruno could bang, and bang really hard. He had his shortcomings, but power certainly wasn't one of those |
