Loved the fight, but I'm pretty sure there have been better slugfests than that since Gatti-Ward.

Brandon Rios doesn't have much defence but Alvarados is WOEFUL, he's been a KO waiting to happen for a while, if Prescott had stamina he would have done that to Alvarado, he busted him up even worse than Rios did.

Not a premature stoppage, Alvarado was out on his feet

For a self-proclaimed Rios hater, i gotta admit he did well to grind it out and stop him. Fight was enthralling, FOTY currently.

But as previously mentioned, Prescott was outboxing Alvarado clearly until he gassed so although Alvarado can be mentioned in with the good 140lb'rs, i dont think he'll ever be one of the top names.

Good scalp for Rios - still cant wait for the twat to lose (officially). Broner or Khan would be great fights to make, shame it wont happen with them being TR / GBP.
