Coming in the bout, Margarito had just TKO'd the previous The Ring #1 ranked welterweight and current The Ring #2 ranked welterweight, Miguel Cotto.[7] After the fight, Mosley would be The Ring #1 ranked welterweight and seen by experts and fans alike, the true champion of the division.

This is all that matters when it comes to boxing.

Mayweather's.

Nishioka was defensive to the point of sacrificing his offense. His offense was wild and retaliatory which got him knocked down. The stoppage was early.

remember that floyd fought marquez at the time. it was only a choice betwen a grandpa mosley or a prime cotto for pac. it's a shame that pac has just recently got at WW and he already fought a legit WW threat in cotto. floyd took 4 years to fight one in mosley and he was shot by that time. floyd really knows when to fight them.

I'm not disagreeing with the early stoppage, but would you want to watch 3 more rounds of that borefest? The fight should have never happened. Clottey v Pac was more exciting than that shit. Nishioka should have just retired.

Gayweirder does that shit and with less entertainment factor and you drool about how great it was.

Is it not ironic?

Your not even an objective poster. Your nuthuggery for Pac is epic. So why would I expect anything knowledgeable from you. And whats with the stop crying crap? Is this the 5th grade? Nobody is crying here. Your just Fanboy. If you are going to dispute the points I listed, include credible sources, not just shit you believe to be true. If I made a mistake I will own up to it. Will you?

RATINGS UPDATE

Pound for pound: Pacquiao (No. 1) and Mayweather (No. 2) retain their positions, while Mosley drops from No. 3 to No. 5. Mosley’s demotion also moves up Nonito Donaire (No. 5 last week) to No. 4. Bernard Hopkins (No. 6 last week) and Miguel Cotto (No. 7 last week) both depart to make room for more deserving fighters to advance or enter. Chad Dawson improves from No. 8 to No. 6, Paul Williams advances from No. 9 to No. 7. New middleweight world champion Serio Martinez debuts at No. 8, while new world flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam enters at No. 9. Celestino Caballero remains at No. 10.

Seems you made a mistake.

I await your apology.

As for Donaire, new ranking, still not updated yet. but is bound to go up the charts, unlike Floyd.
