Tyson of the Ruddock fights steps in the ring with a prime Riddick Bowe of the first Holyfield fight

Who wins this?

Personally I doubt Bowe would ever fight him ... He was from the same hood as Mike and knew that Tyson was someone not to be trifled with ... And Tyson was refocused and displayed the hunger of the old Tyson of the late 80s

Ive heard the same, that they wouldn't fight each other they were
from the same neighborhood. Tyson of the Ruddock fight might
get sparked by a huge uppercut on the inside, Bowe had an elite
jab and an iron chin to go with the expert inside game. Bowe
Is one of the only guys that could beat Tyson. Tyson of the Ruddock
Fight was still a force to be reckoned with. BOWE split decision.
80s Tyson would win. Very tough decision but youre picking
Bowe on his best night.

A prime Bowe had the game to beat Tyson and, I suspect, it would come by KO after 8-10 rounds of being broken down by a very powerful jab!

Prime bowe stops the bully and out jabs mike till he gets frustrated and then koed late. Then again mike knocks the crap out of bowe early.

Thinnish Bowe beats Tyson for me. Large, good chin, big hitter and a workrate. Stops Mike late would be my bet.

Certainly not beyond the worlds of possibilty to see Mike winning but it has more to do with his speed and accuracy than his KO power, I dont think he would KO young Bowe, if Mike were to win itd be on pts.

The Tyson from the Ruddock fights probably loses by stoppage. He was begging to be hit by a righthand in that fight and Riddick had two hands and put his shots together in combination.

Mike Tyson was mostly just a bomber by the early 90s. He could still punch so I wouldnt count him out of the matchup but I think Bowe at that time was sharper.

Riddick was the best infighter for a tall man Ive ever seen by a mile. So when Tyson looks to rest on the inside like he was doing at that point in his career Bowe would be going to work on him.

Bowe is a monster who can fight at pretty much any range effectively, his one flaw is he is willing to take a shot to land a shot. his saving grace is usually his chin but I don't think that's a question here; anyone allowing Tyson to punch will get knocked out.

Tyson by 4th round ko.

Tyson still had some fire in him at this point and wanted his titles back. Not sure who was a more dangerous opponent, 91' Ruddock or 92' Bowe. But I lean towards Bowe a bit. A tough one to call but Bowe wouldn't be able to withstand too many shots from Tyson as he did from Holyfield.

Tyson would mess bowe up, he'd get on the inside and tear that body up before going upstairs with hooks, uppercuts, and overhand rights. The tyson of the ruddock fights was tough as nails did you see the shots he took from ruddock?!?! he ate smashes for breakfast and came back for seconds. His head movement was much less but he still had quick hand and foot speed although he wasnt throwing punches in bunches like vintage tyson. Still he would put 2-3 together he still worked the body giachetti had tyson in very good physical condition every time he fought. Tyson by late KO

I've always favoured Tyson over Bowe. While Bowe would always give Tyson problems with his size, strength and big uppercut, Bowe's lack of defence would be his undoing.

Bowe has always been easy to hit, if Holyfield was able to hurt Bowe and Hide had him out on his feet I suspect a bigger puncher like Tyson would do even more damage. Tyson wouldn't need to cut the ring off against Bowe. Riddick would stand and trade with him.

It would be a great fight while it lasted but I see even this slightly faded Tyson to stop Bowe in about 6-7 rounds.

Peak Tyson would have my vote to take Bowe in a close decision, but the one who had abandoned some of his skill and workrate by 1991, probably doesn't have enough to keep Bowe on his toes.. Riddick by referee stoppage sometime late, after a crowd pleasing brawl.
