Default Re: On your toes!

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys, i've also started to stand at more of an angle rather than squared up which helps. How did Mike Tyson have great footwork but also fight out of a crouch. Im not trying to be Sugar Ray Leonard or Muhammed Ali by any means thats why I stayed away from bouncing on my toes in the first place, isnt it true that when flat footed you feel you can sit down on all your punches and put more torque in them from a more stable platform? Or an Early Jack Dempsey for example I'm having trouble being the stalker/agresser while on my toes constantly I bob and weave as well so any advice there on how to be agile yet powerful while maintaining pressure? Sorry if i'm asking too much i'm just curious.

Just to clarify I am saying that Tyson and early Dempsey were good examples of punchers with good footwork while maintaining constant aggression
