how do u know he won't fight the top guys later?

he is being smart in taking the money fight with anthony now before he takes on the best just in case he were to lose. the mundine fight would be much less without a title up for grabs and anthony may not have taken the rematch just for the payday being the prize on offer.

thats not being scared, thats being smart and realistic.

Sure Geale may not like the talk and the show that goes with boxing. But it is just his job. The guy is a unified world champion and no one in Australia knows who he is. He is a great fighter and could promote boxing in Australia so well.

Saying he sold out is a bit perverse. His last fight was for the WBA strap. I would have thought it reasonable to have a home town fight against a lesser ranked opponent for a bit of cash. Especially against a very dangerous and skilled fighter, and the only man to beat him so far. Mundine certainly isn't a soft target. Sure it's a fight for the cash....but saying he sold out or is disappointing his fans has zero credibility.

Geale has not got the power to trouble Martinez like Pavlik and JCC jr but he does have superior boxing skills to them. Trouble is the ***y mans are better.
He may win some rounds like Barker,Macklin but eventually will get TKO'd unless Sergio gets old overnight.
