Well actually, he's slower than he's ever been. So yes, he's shown slight cues of slippage, just not in his ring iq. Don't be fooled by the extra muscles.

My thing is. This is what young fighters are supposed to do. They're supposed to think they're the best and would body the competition. People are just mad cause he emulates and looks up to Mayweather Jr.

JMM is physically past prime, but not by a lot. He looked really strong, fast, and explosive in Pacquiao-Marquez III. The JMM today is performing at the highest level of his career due to his ring IQ also being at its highest point.

Pacquiao wasn't Marquez's last fight. Fedchenko was, .

Even the commentators were mentioning the fact that Marquez looked a bit "sluggish" at times.

That headband is a no-no he looks like a member of a 70's disco group. I like his confidence DeMarco is only the tip of the iceberg, but he lucky he got the nod over PDL. Like Canelo, Broner hasn't beaten anyone good yet. Just cuz Abril did what he did against Rios doesn't mean Broner could do the same. Broner got the athleticism, but hasn't shown the IQ or craftiness to beat Rios. Escobedo was a lamb Rios aint no lamb to slaughter.

He was fast enough with that muscle to keep up with Pac less than a year ago. Please tell me what other fighters can keep up with Pac. Go on i'll wait.

Oh, yeah - Fedchenko the Tune Up. The wiry Russian who came only to survive. You don't think Marquez trained at 110% and actually got up for the fight, did you? After all, Marquez refused to fight Rios/Khan/Guerrero/Judah because he only wanted Pacquiao. In any case, JMM cruised and almost stopped Fedchenko in the 12th.

Do you really think he was at his best against a guy no one had ever heard of? He looked like crap when he took that tune up before the Pac fight too. Really sluggish and chubby. Then he went on to school Pac one more time a few months later.

Oh fuck off with that " he didn't train up to standards, cause it was only a tune up". If that was actually the case (which I highly doubt with Beristain), then he deserved to look as lethargic as he did. It's easy to see that the extra weight and muscle has helped to slow him along with age. The fact that you don't want to see that, shows your trollish ways. It's easy to see he's slowed considerably. He's been fighting above his best weight for years.

Fighters train differently for different fighters it was obvious Jmm was taking a backseat in the Fedchenko fight. In Marquez-Pacquiao 3 his foot movement was faster than its ever been his timing was perfect. He didnt get ko'd and matched or surpassed Manny punch for punch you have to have some speed to at least hang with Pacman.
