And I agree Mayweather fought the best in every division.

I just don't think that means they were neccesarilly that great a victory.

And yes even though the fighters he beat were the number ones in there division, that doesn't mean there weren't other fighters around that couldn't have beaten them and were better at that weight

Like right now Garcia is currently number one and the best at 140. And beating him at 140 would mean you are beating the best in that division.

However i would say the following fighters are better than garcia at 140 and would beat him (Manny Pac, Marquez, Bradley, Peterson)
Yet Garcia deserves to be number one. Yet that doesn't mean there aren't fighters around that are better than him at that weight.

i'm just saying you can have a fighter ranked the best in the division. But there are other fighters who everyone knows, and would be favoured to beat them in that division.
But they aren't ranked for various reasons.
Like Garcia is number 1 light welter. But i'd say beating manny at light welter is a better win. (would you argue that beating garcia is a better light welter win cos he's ranked number one?)
Bradley is currently the number one welter now. But i'd argue beating Manny of Floyd is a better win.

Pac in 2010 would have been the best win at 147.....but Pac didn't want to fight, so Floyd fought the #1 guy anyways.

The problem with your logic is t hat you are trying to use it to discredit a win and that is bullshit. If you beat Garcia at 140 you beat the best 140lber in the fucking division. Based on your logic you would say, "Oh this guy beat Garcia at 140 but Manny Pacquiao was the best at 140." WTF

130 - Corales
135 - Castillo
140 - Kosta
147 - Cotto, Margo then Pac at floyds second run at welter
154 - definetly not oscar the 1st time floyd fought there - And not Cotto the 2nd time - I's prob say Martinez was still number one IMO
