Food for thought would be some of the recent hitters that t off on opponents that give windows when hurt; Lamon Brewster. Tua. Corrie Sanders. Klitschko brothers.
I think David Haye and Commander Vander capitalize on that window as well, but they won't do anymore than score a knockdown. The thing with Tyson is that he might go in his non-agressive mode after that and drop the decision or the inclination to be a top shelf predator in there. Riddick Bowe landing like Bruno and he definately follows up. I don't think he has enough snap to really end the fight right then, but he can sure hurt him some more and Bowe definately pressed on the heat whenever he got a guy hurt. I just think the Bruno's/Ruddock/Morrison and those type guys are not capitalizing on that opportunity. I have doubts about Mike absorbing a right hand from Wlad if he was hurt by his lefthook and Wlad thru that A#1 right hand follow up. That punch busted up lots of guys as well and that's a whole different equation to consider. |

Ever so slightly off topic, but Bruno actually stopped all but 2 of his opponents. One was Oliver Mcall (self explanatory) and the other was a Phil Jackson.
Also, Kevin Rooney was originally left out of this fight by Tyson as 'punishment' for speaking out on Tysons personal affairs involving Givens etc. Tyson was going to bring him back afterwards, but Rooney sued Tyson at the same time, so that basically ended everything. Tyson also had 8 months inactivity before this fight, his longest ever at the time |
