I think Golovkin is a lose lose situation for most fighters. Martinez on the other hand is very well known in the States and even if Geale lost against him he would get the exposure etc. that comes with fighting someone like Martinez |

I don't think the WBA belt matters in the whole scheme of things. If Geale beats Mundine he'll have a chance to fight GGG anyway because both have belts and it will be a unified title fight which gives it more sparkle.
If Mundine wins he'll be happy to have the IBF belt and he will have loads of options especially in the states. If both belts had been stripped then that's a different story altogether. Secretly i don't think Geale is that unhappy because he can avoid GGG without it looking like a duck by accepting a revenge fight that will earn him close to 5x more money.... No one will bag him for that. |
