1. Vs. Duran at 135 and Montreal Duran vs. Welter Napoles
2. Whitaker at 140 and Welter vs Welter This came from another thread where it was claimed Duran was scared to face Napoles and Napoles would beat Whitaker. Last edited by KuRuPT; 11-01-2012 at 05:43 PM. |

I can't in good conscience pick Napoles on the limited stuff I have seen of him under welter...but I reckon you could argue him over both with a bit of extrapolation of his welter work.
He has the tools to upset both...but it's one of the those calls where you can't really be right or wrong, to close. |

Either one could beat the other on any given night. Chuck Carlos Ortiz in and I'd say he'd pick up wins against all of them if they all had a series with each other.
They are all fucking excellent. |

Napoles vs. Duran is about as even a match as you could ask for. Montreal Duran would be a bit more wary of Napoles power I think. Unless Duran cuts him, this one will always come down to the judges.
I can't see Whitaker prevailing over Napoles at any weight. Defensive abilities are comparable, but offense is a no-brainer. That's all Napoles. |
