Nah, pretty sure I'm thinking of Mundine, who called Kessler out for a rematch for 2 years then when he inherited the full WBA title and Kessler became his mandatory he vacated it and moved down to MW.

Then when he was GGG's mandatory he didn't bother turning up to the purse bid.

Then when the IBO ordered he rematch Geale he vacated the IBO belt to move down to JMW.

Then when he was Austin Trout's mandatory he imported the loser Alvarez brother and fought him because it would give him more negotiating power with Trout, but then he decided to fight Bronco Mckart (LULZ!) instead, and now Trout's fighting Cotto and Geale's thrown Mundine a lifeline.
