Style wise I see this similar to Louis' prime match against Max Baer - I think that's a fairly good barometer Baer being a similar size and carrying similar crazy power as George and having similar punching style and a similar disregard for using any kind of technique and having having a similarly iron chin - difference obviously being that Baer quickly became very afraid of Louis but in regards to George this is tempered by Max being that tad bit quicker in his moves when he did make them - I personally and unpopularly think that of all the heavyweight champions George Foreman is the most made to order for Joe Louis and I think Joe Louis would look every bit as good as he did against Max Baer in administering a clinical deconstruction of Big George - Joe like Ali is simply too great a fighter for George

Either Foreman beats him up and KO's him early on or Louis recovers and KO's him late in the fight.

The Foreman up to and including the Ali bout would have a good shot at stopping Louis. Joe was a lot better, technically, but on a head to head basis,he may not have the ability to evade George's power shots.

One of those cases when a man quite a lot higher up the ATG great list has a style that's vulnerable to a man a bit lower down the ladder. I'm not implying that this outcome is cast in stone by any means, though.

Louis was the more skilled, but also had the tendency to get decked and in trouble early and against far lesser men than Foreman. If he survives the first several rounds without getting into hot water, he probably wins. But if George gets him hurt and down early, I don't think he's letting him off the hook.

I think Joes footwork is too slow to keep away from or get into his range against George. George will push him and keep him off balance and when he hurts Joe, wont let him off the hook

The Brown Bombers chin wouldnever survive Foreman's terrifying power. truly a night in hell would await Joe

This is a tough one Louis more skilled & faster hands for sure, though lack of mobility could tell. Foreman was significantly better than Baer, who never had Foreman's jab or ring cutting skills, & was even more primitive.
