At the end of the day it doesnt matter who rigo fights the most important thing is that he looks good on the Donaire undercard

If he lights up his opponent it really turns up the heat on Donaire

was probably just that kid trying to get some shine by using Rigo's name knowing all the Filipino press would jump on it cause of Donaire... smart move by the kids team...

His Irish manager Patrick Thomas says he's tried to bag a fight with every top-10 fighter in the heavyweight division to little or no avail. But despite being inactive for all of 2012 so far, he says Perez is in shape of his life ahead of trip to Germany on December 1 to face Ruslan Chagaeev.

Mike won't be trained by Colin Morgan for this fight though, who has left Ireland and gone back to the USA. (got it from another tread)

Yeah - Perez is still based in Cork. Trainer Colin Morgan has gone back to the USA, not Mike. Incidentally, of the other two Cork-based Cubans, super-bantamweight Alexei Acosta Collado is moving to Miami but light-heavyweight Luis Garcia will remain in Cork also. (from another tread)

Alexei is still waiting on a via for the USA but he told me he has a fight lined up on December 15 in Miami.

Is alexei speaking english? it will help if he already can handle some interviews on his own.Its a big problem with boxers in Miami, they never learn english.

Yeah i havent seen him in a few years but he was the best of the three speaking english but they all speak english
