I don't understand why Haye is doing this now- at his age he should steering well clear of reality shows. I hear he's not getting a lot of money for his appearance- around 100k. He could earn ten times that if he thought anyone in the top ten. The problem with Haye is that his heart isn't in the game anymore which is sad for someone who feasibly could clean up the heavyweight division.

How many mugs are in the boxing game, fighters that don't make any money and lead depressing lives, turn to drugs and crime..? David Haye is not one of them guys. If i had the chance to go on celebrity get me out of here, or big brother i would. |

This is the finest example possible of a sportsman who's so desperate for the public to give a **** about him that he's agreed to go on reality show so people see his face every night and keep him in the public conscience. First it was Audley on Strictly, now Haye on I'm a Celebrity. I tell you what, I'd bet that Tyson Fury would be ****ing great on X Factor. He could sing Gyspies, Tramps and Thieves by Cher. It would be appropriate because he'd be singing about his family and friends. Or Coward of the County by Kenny Rogers. |
