Did you get a free ticket by entering in a "gift coupon" code like I did? If that is the case, then did you get anything you can actually print out rather than a mere confirmation email (and a tax invoice)?

You don't need one because they know who has purchased what & have a registration process happening on the day.

It would probably be a good idea to take along your receipt in any event & of course some id.

Further to this one, I get home tonight and there's a ticket to the event in the mailbox.

So it looks like you do need a ticket although given the advice provided to me verbally, if one doesn't turn up your chances of getting in should be okay if you have a receipt for it and id.
