Default Biggest fraud in sports history

It looks like it might be Lance Armstrong.

How about in the boxing world.

Was there an ATG who's career was built on fixed fights, bribed referees and bought judges?

I think there may have been.

Stop.....Just stop already! Will you never stop your blatant hating on all things Philadelphia....His fights were not at all scripted....no one could act that poorly IMHO....He had tremendous heart, and that cannot be measured my friend....Philadelphia is all about heart!

Creed/Drago c'mon these guys are nothing like Liston! They take a dive for no one! Rocky just out hearted them!

Jack Dempsey for sure.

Lance was only doing what everyone else in that sport did. And they all ratted on him to make themselves look better.

You can blame his father for that, feeding him stiff after stiff. O'Grady was never going to be an all time great, but he was a decent fun fighter to watch.

Along this same line, how about Monte Masters? He won Pat O'Grady's fledgling WAA heavyweight title and was stripped for divorcing O'Grady's daughter!

Most ATGs have benefitted from the managerial advantage.
I wouldn't call it fraudulent though.

The motivations of those others is hardly relevant now.
The thing that makes Lance such a fraud is not that he used drugs but that he refuses to man up and admit what we all know. He'd rather cut himself off from reality, treating the public that has supported him for years with utter contempt.
It's hard not to label him a fraud, except he's not fooling anyone. He's also a pathological liar clearly, a narcissist most likely, and very possibly the sociopath bully that some are claiming.
Good luck to him.
