I like how the black guy next to Hearns is just completely spacing out.

Always thought Larry Holmes gave a stern game face and looked unfazed and ready to deal with any action given..but i like Holmes.

I think it was Marciano who wouldn't look at his opponent until the opening bell.

He's look down at the canvas, even when they were receiving the referee's instructions.

I think it was him. It was one of them.

The canvas must have been terrified.

There are different types of staredown.

Most of the ones mentioned so far, are of the Sonny Liston school which says "I am angry and I am going to f**k you up".

The Joe Louis school is more along the lines of "I am not angry with you but I am going to crush you as casualy as I would step on an insect".

The Max Baer school says "you are in the ring with one crazy dude and you don't know what he is going to do next".

The Jack Johnson school says "I don't think much of you as a fighter, and I am just being polite to you before I subject you to the most hideous beating".

Hard to go past Tyson - looked like the most dangerous psycho on earth - worst part is he probably was.

Tyson won fights by early KO while the referee was issuing his final instructions.

I loved Benitez's staredowns. He was arrogant and theatrical at the same time. He was a master at the staredown.

Just more Dempsey hate here. Dempsey wasn't scared of any of his opponents, least of all the emotional crybaby Sharkey.

I think the low blows should be taken into consideration.

everyone says Tyson-McNeeley. If I didn't know any better I'd say McNeeley was the one that looked intimidating. Practically ****in laughing in Mike Tyson's face.
