Most like? Marciano or Julian Jackson. When he knocks people out, they're unconcious and not moving.
Shavers and Foreman are likely harder punchers all around, but Wlad has true 1 punch KO power that Shavers and Foreman didn't have. |

In my knowledge, Lewis, but sneakier. That same heavy, meaty hit that scrambles the brain and takes the legs, but he disguises it better.
I've NEVER had a guy lay me low in sparring since I was a teenager, till Wlad K did it some 7 years ago. |

I've never felt them obviously, but his punches look really snappy to me in the same way as Morrison's left hook did, stunning and brain jarring shots.

He clearly hits extremely hard. Its important to remember that he usually knocks guys out after softening them up with a constant barrage of thudding jabs and occasional right hands before he stiffens them.
He's able to do this because he might have the most dangerous jab in heavyweight jab in heavyweight history. Was it as fast, elegant, and flashy as Ali's or Holmes'? No, but its far more damaging. It connects in ones, twos, and threes, and when it does it visibly saps his opponents of their strength, like Lewis' did. |

I am not saying he is as good as Joe Louis in the skills department, or with firing combos..but his punches do seem to have a similar effect...bit more size with a bit less snap..but similar to my find.

By the way, did you ever get the chance to spar Boytsov? Ding also posts on this board and he said Boytsov hits hard as hell (though still a league below Wlad). |

I'd say on par w/ Liston.
Big hard hurtful jab. The kind that stops everything the opponent is doing and literally impossible to walk through. It hsa to be slipped or parried. Nasty lefthook. Major league right hand. Sonny had a much better uppercut but I think at the end of the day, opponents are going to need top shelf whiskers and a lot of tools in the closet to deal with either guy. |
