If you look at our best fighters -- Froch, Khan, Brook, Haye, Burns, etc -- I can't really think of any Euro challengers in their respective divisions that would get the better of them.

When we get European journyman coming over and we call them Eurobums, Latvian Cab Drivers etc.

What do you think the Europeans call our bums that go over to their countries?

Yeah I agree. Arguably at Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight and maybe a few others, the best Europeab fighter isn't British but I think in general as a collective Britain is the best country in Europe for boxing

I think Cleverly and Bellew would batter any European fighter. If you were to go through the weightclasses and pick the best European fighter in each I believe Brits would be at the top of most:

Heavyweight - Wlad Klitschko

Cruiser - Marco Huck

Light Heavy - Nathan Cleverly

Super Middleweight - Carl Froch (there's an argument for Kessler but he's not been very active and didn't look great against Allan 'Bum' Green)

Middle - Pirog (Does Golovkin count as European? If so I'd say him)

Light Middle - Sergei Dzinziruk

Welter - Kell Brook

Light Welter - Amir Khan

Lightweight - Ricky Burns

Super Feather - Liam Walsh/Vitali Tajbert

Feather - Lee Selby

Super Bantam - Carl Frampton

Bantam - Jamie McDonnell

Super Fly - Paul Butler

Flyweight - ??

Good list. Yeah middle and light middle are weaker in Britain but I'd say Campillo is arguably the best LHW in Europe. Though it's close with Bellew and Cleverly no doubt

It depends on whether you consider the UK part of Europe.... It is an Island

It's not close at all, really. Campillo is the best LHW in Europe by a country mile.
