A focused and motivated Jimmy Young is like a focused and motivated Zab Judah. By the way, here's something I painted once:

Young by stoppage. Far more comfortable in his style than Haye is. And tougher. His lack of dig means nothing against Haye, who was on queer street against Lolenga Mock.

Haye would pick up some rounds based purely on speed and athleticism coupled with Young not punching.
But when Jimmy is countering and seeing the openings, I can't see Haye knowing what to do at all. Young, competitive but clear decision. |

Any of the light, sneaky shots that Young tagged Ali, Norton and Foreman with would have really shook up Haye. Haye wouldn't have a clue.

Folks, bundle up. It's gonna be a long winter. It's Jimmy Young season in the Classic Forum.
The correct answer: Haye gets negated by the negative master. Jimmy Young gets screwed on the cards. Haye UD. |

If it's competitive, that means Young gets hit. With Haye's power shots. How is he going to deal with that? I think Haye would let his hands go against Young and the hand speed and power would be too much for Young.

A blinded by blood, old and shot Jimmy Young wasn't even phased by a young, prime Cooney. He dealt with Ron Lyle, survived Foreman,...Haye's power would be inconsequential and he would be embarrassed by Young.
