Johnson should be 225 max, he's half a foot shorter than Fury and clearly overbulked and top heavy |

Read slower. I said realistic. When's the last time Johnson came in below 240? A: almost five years ago. He just needs to come in on the low end, and not in the mid-240s or approaching a career peak on the high end.

Is Fury the same monster that a Klitschko is? |

So, right now, no, he isn't the same monster. So, he doesn't have the same fearsome reputation that a Klitschko has. So, there's no reason to assume Johnson will pussy out the way he did against a more frightening super heavy. So, those stats aren't very relevant. |

It's doubtful he's being offered a heck of a lot, certainly not that K2 compensation, so what else is he getting out of it? A trip to scenic Belfast, yippee. The Prizefighter cash grab was probably greater than whatever purse he'll get for this. |

225???? The guy is 6'3 and a strongly built 6'3 at that. 240 is just fine. He looked in good shape against Klitschko. Some guys are just heavily muscled. Tyson was jacked at 225 and 5'10 |

Johnson at 33 would be drained to refugee proportions if he aimed for the mid twenties now, let alone successfully made it. His career low is 229, at age 27, five and a half years ago - and since 2007 he's never been lower than 240. |

Deontay Wilder fights Kelvin Price, Seth Mitchell fights Banks, and this fight---heavywieght division has some good bouts coming up among contenders. I know Mitchell vs Banks is on HBO, are others mentioned televised? They should be, to build up fan interest.

Wilder vs. Price is likely going to be on Telefutura or something, like Wilder's other bouts. Maybe WealthTV if we're lucky. The guy who needs to get on TV in the US is the kid who spanked Johnson recently and won Prizefighter. (Tor Hamer, the best kept secret in American boxing...not saying he's the best of 'em but he's a player and nobody talks about him...) |

Does any of this really matter?
We're not going to see any great skill from either opponent, and the outcome of this fight is basically meaningless. I'm as desperate for an exciting HW match as the next guy, but this 'aint it. |
