Your thoughts on this guy. Lots of reasons to criticize him, especially after just showing up against Pac for the check. But I actually enjoy his style when he comes to fight. But he hasn't fought in almost a year now. Any word on when he might be back?

He had a fight with Xavier Toliver set a few months ago in Ghana but pulled out.

I'd like to see him fight some before it's too late but what can you do.

He's a good fighter and should fight more often.

He came to fight against Pac, btw, he simply got shut out by a far superior fighter who knew how to take advantage of a glaring weakness. His overly economical style is always going to hinder him at the top level, and that was simply an extreme case of it.

I like Clottey he is a top fighter, he gave both Cotto and Margarito good fights and beat Judah. Lacks workrate though in the later and it lets him down.

He may have walked to the ring intending to fight Pacquiao -- I don't know what was in his head -- but that intention if it was there didn't last very long.

That's what tends to happen when your opponent never lets you in the fight. Not everyone is going to make a Chavez-Taylor kind of effort to close the gap and consistently press for the win. Most will concede defeat and just try to hang around once they come to the realization that they're out of their depth.

He cared about his looks & health too much to be an elite.
(His turtle shell defense was not fun to watch)

When Clottey opened tho he had great combo's.

I still feel he beat Margarito with one hand. (similar to Chambers vs. Adamek)

I like him a lot. I'm sure he could have been more than he is now, but he seems pretty content with where he's at. Clottey vs. Tall Paul would have been a great match. Clottey somehow managed to school Margarito while Margarito was throwing a record number of punches.

Close fight, the early rounds were clearly won by Clottey then the mid to late rounds to Margarito, Clottey I believe took atleast 1 or 2 of the mid to late rounds.

Maragrito was a beast he fought the best of the best @WW win/lose.

The injury definitely affected him, but people act like he was getting smacked around from the moment it happened. I had him edging it close with enough banked.

His career is judged on one fight to several people, but he really was a Great Fighter.
